Blade Shearing Tournament
Our Blade Shearing Tournament will enable you to compete with many of the top blade shearers in the Northern Hemisphere as they continue their master craft in the sheep shearing shed from 10am - 5pm Sunday 23rd March, with prizes for the winners of the Novice, Intermediate and Open finalists.
The Blade Tournament is being sub-divided from the Farm Open Day, Fleece Sale and Fibre Quest / Experience event to allow us to focus on what we truly believe makes us unique at Fernhill Farm - sharing skills in shepherding, blade shearing and wool sorting to add value to wool at pre-processing stages.
The Tournament day will function as a competition to raise the standard of blade shearing, judging and overall skill in representing home countries and counties, within a 4 stand shearing shed when the bright lights are upon you.
