Freedom Felting Kits are designed using completely natural components, ideal for conscious craft enthusiasts with plenty of imagination.

We have been making kits up at shows and events for those new to needle felting who having tried our taster sessions, wanting to continue at home.

We love that so many have all the imagination required to complete both 3D shapes and 2D pictures in such creative ways, and this kit provides a useful selection of fibres that encourages freedom of expression, opposed to following a rigid set of instructions to copy a premade design.

Disliking the synthetic foam pads commonly used we have now designed a complete kit to include a 100% all new wool felting pad, made using felt outer with waste wool for stuffing for Eco-loveliness !

The next area we wanted to perfect is plastic free packaging and thus you will now find paper bags lined with corn-starch for our various curls and craft ingredients all sent in a reusable recyclable card box.

Felt kit contents:

1 x felting pad approx. 26cm x 20cm

5 x 2D picture felting squares approx. 12cm x 19cm

1 x wooden needle holder with ultra-fine needle

3 x felting needles - fine, medium and coarse

1 x sheep shape ball as a 3D base

50g core wool stuffing for 3D shapes

20g naturally coloured curls

50g Rainbow roving’s

Tri colour of roving’s - 25g White, 25g Beige, 25g Grey

All the fibre components can be replenished individually - see purchase list below

(extra needles in the various sizes can be found online and craft shops)

The basic instructions with this kit include safe use and storage of needles

*Dyed fleece in 50g packs is not included within this kit and can be added as an extra or a replacement component
