Acoustic felt is ideal for sound proofing, cushioning, insulating, and underlaying where absorption of sounds, shocks, temperature regulation is required
Wool is also excellent at absorbing chemical spills as well as dust, echo’s, abrasions and has wonderful thermoregulation properties in both hot and cold conditions, making this product useful for many industries and applications
This felt differs from our pressed and pre-felt ranges as it has a hessian scree embedded in the layer of wool which create a woven memory deep within the felt, enabling the felt to hold its shape when used and reused, draped or otherwise
This listing is for our hanging basket liners - pre-cut squares in the following dimensions in two thicknesses:
33cm x 33cm - 10” basket liner*
50cm x 50cm - 14” basket liner*
You can also purchase 1m runs off the roll = cut your own sizes
*Please note these are simple squares to lay inside your own baskets - corners can be cut off and used as insulation mulch, slits can be cut to lay the felt into a circle and felt can be sewn onto baskets using jute or garden string
A water-holding layer is also required between the felt and the soil, as with all basket liners - we like to reuse the potting compost bags as they are strong, black on the inside and available when creating your own baskets
